- Skype For Business Web App On Mac Having Network Connectivity Issues Today
The Lync/Skype for Business clients don't use Service Connection Point (SCP) to determine the autodiscover URL. Instead, they rely on DNS records. They base this action on the user’s domain suffix of the WindowsEmailAddress or Mail attribute in Active Directory. At least one of the following DNS records has to be fixed in the Exchange. Make sure it's not a network problem. Skype won't work if you don't have a network connection. This is true if you're using Skype from any device, be it on the web, your phone, computer, etc. If you can't open the websites from Step 1 or nothing else works, then your whole network is probably not working. Skype for Business, formerly Lync 2013, for Windows Phone extends the power of Lync and Skype for Business to your mobile device – including voice and video over wireless, rich presence, instant messaging, meetings, and calling features from a single, easy-to-use interface.

We found that the updates are related to .Net 4.6 when the services are utilizing certificates as authentications, there is an issue with the Web Conferencing service accessing the certificate requiring both Client and Server Authentication in the Enhanced Key Usage (EKU) extension of the certificate , so there are a couple of workarounds to bring the communication backup and running.
Option 1 :is to exclude the Web Conferencing Service from this .Net requirement, you must perform the below on all Skype for Business 2015 or Lync Server 2013 Front-end and Edge Servers.
- Open a command prompt as administrator
- Copy and paste the below registry key that applies to your server, be sure to change the path for the directory if you installed on another drive.
